Friends Concept Manifesto

Build bridges. Create real connections. Grow together.

Friends Concept is more than just an event.

It’s a space. A breath of fresh air. A project to (re)humanize our social lives.

Here, we don’t come to consume a night out.

We come to live a social experience.

To meet ; not to perform.
To listen ; not just wait for our turn to speak.
To share ; even with people we’ve just met.

✨ What we believe

We believe adult friendship is possible.

At 27, 34, or 46.

Even if you’ve just moved here, don’t know anyone, or feel a little shy.

We believe that connection can be learned, practiced, and refined — like an art of living.

We believe in building bridges between bubbles:
between artists and engineers, dreamers and builders, locals and travelers.

And that by meeting each other, we all rise a little higher.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Who we are

Open-minded, kind-hearted people, each brilliant in their own way.

Not always extroverted.
But always curious : about others and about life.

Most of us are between 25 and 35, sometimes more, sometimes less.

We’re musicians, coders, designers, teachers, actors, entrepreneurs, expats…

But here, we leave our labels at the door.

🚪 Our ground rules

To protect the vibe, here’s what we ask from everyone:

  • 🟢 Come alone or with few friends only, come curious : most people do.
  • 🟢 Listen with attention. Don’t wait to speak. Don’t interrupt.
  • 🟢 Be kind. You don’t need to agree : just be open.
  • 🟢 Respect everyone’s pace. Not everyone wants to “network” : some are just here to be.
  • 🟢 Show up. If you’re in, participate at least once every 2 months.
  • 🔴 No pickup culture. Flirting is fine : if it’s respectful, mutual, and kind.
  • 🔴 No social peacocking. We value depth over status.
  • 🔴 No ghosting the group. If you’re not active, we make space for others.

💛 What we protect

Respect.
The freedom to be yourself.
The space to say “I don’t know” or “I’d rather not.”

Humor that brings people together — not humor that puts them down.

And the beauty of simple, sincere human moments.

🚀 What we’re building

A world where meeting strangers in real life still makes sense.

Where you can feel like you belong : even if you’re different.

Where social growth isn’t about climbing a ladder : it’s about opening up to others.

Friends Concept is a movement.

So that thousands of people, everywhere, can one day say:

“That night, I met someone who changed the course of my life.”

And maybe that someone… could be you.
